Package Included:
It's so irritating when your battery just got a thirty-minute battery life or so. Now the reason you bought a laptop is you want to have the flexibility and freedom to work away from anywhere. If your laptop battery doesn't hold much charge, then you don't have much of that. Your one alternative is to buy a new battery. Batteries are expensive so the next time you purchase a new one, follow these simple tips on how to extend the shelf life of your laptop battery.
The mobo may be affected. The charging circuit on a 1525 is on the mobo, not the "bottom plastics". This is unlikely because it recognizes that your charger IS plugged in.
It may be that your charger is bad, this is unlikely because it recognizes it's plugged in and because you can use your computer on AC only.
Don't run any processor intensive programs. Anyway use it until it completely runs out, then when your laptop shuts off unplug it, then take out the battery ( should be easy with a little latch etc. ). Then leave it out for a few hours and place it back in, then fully charge the battery WITHOUT turning the computer back on, by plugging the AC in when the battery is snapped back in place.
