- Third, you can double overall battery capacity by installing a second battery. Your laptop must have a universal bay in order to do this. All you have to do is remove the CD-ROM or floppy drive and put a battery in its place

06-09-2009- Other Thoughts: I'm very happy with this battery since with my old one it wouldn't hold a charge for over a minute. This one has a very long battery life and I really don't mind how far it sticks out. It makes it easier to type for me while at my desk.
