- I looked around and found these cables are half the price of the cheapest brand found in Radio. I hooked up a HD DVR to the component connections of my HD TV. The picture is nearly as good as the HDMI connection from the Dish HD satellite receiver connected to this TV.

- Why can't I hear the audio from the camera?
1. Make sure you didn't check the Mute item on the audio page or the network page.
2. Make sure you forward the audio control port number, if you are accessing the camera via internet.
3. Check your client settings page of the camera; make sure you didn't disable audio.
- How can I record a video on the TV after connecting the AV cable?
It should be quite simple. I guess you're not using the right connections. It's possible you're using the input on the TV instead of the output. Double check that and you should be able to see the TV output on the camcorder screen.
- What does AV cable for digital camera do?
Your digital camera can play back still images, video and video with sound (depending on the model) on any television through a single cable that is included with your initial purchase. A quick glance at your user manual will enable you to determine your camera's features, to locate its output port (which may be called Video Out, AV Out, or simply AV) and to establish the appearance of your output cable.
