How to Clean a Silicone Keyboard Cover?
- Fill your kitchen sink with enough warm water to fully submerge the keyboard cover. Add 1/4 tsp. of mild liquid dish detergent
- Remove the cover from the keyboard. Take the cover outdoors and shake the crumbs off
- Submerge the keyboard cover in your kitchen sink. Allow it to soak for 10 minutes if food has dried on it
- Wash the silicone keyboard cover, front and back, with a soft cloth. Rinse the cover with warm, clean water from the faucet
- Lay the silicone cover flat on a towel to dry
Usages:
- Turn your computer off but keep it open with the keyboard exposed
- Spray rag with disinfectant
- Wipe the keyboard with the rag. Make sure to wipe in between the keys with the rag. This is best done by lightly brushing the cloth across the keyboard to remove any loose dust or dirt
- Remove the skin if you want to do a more thorough cleaning. Be sure to let the skin completely dry before returning it over the keyboard

03-03-2012- Other Thoughts: This item was long time in my Wish List, and when I noticed it was on discount I bought it right away! It came in a simple package and it was folded on itself, but that didn't do anything to it because it's very flexible. It fits perfectly on my laptop and it's very confortable to use. Right now it's full of dirt, that otherwise would be going into my computer! I recommend it because it very cheap and useful.

12-23-2010- Other Thoughts: This item arrived very quickly and was much thinner than expected (the picture makes it look at least twice as thick). the ad also called it polyurethane but the package says silicone and it feels like silicone.

09-29-2010- Other Thoughts: I Spend a great amount of time outside on my deck with my laptop, and living in the country i have lots of trees, so i have all kind of things falling and blowing around, so I wanted something that would protect my keyboard, from allowing things from getting in between the keys and that. This is perfect, easy to put on, take off, clean and the price is right. Something so cheap can save me a lot of money in the long run!
