How to Clean a Laptop Skin:
- Turn your computer off but keep it open with the keyboard exposed
- Spray rag with disinfectant. Do not get the rag wet, just damp
- Wipe the keyboard with the rag. Make sure to wipe in between the keys with the rag. This is best done by lightly brushing the cloth across the keyboard to remove any loose dust or dirt. Press firmly but not hard as you clean the top of the keys
- Remove the skin if you want to do a more thorough cleaning. This isn't necessary for day-to-day cleaning but can help to keep the skin in pristine condition. Clean it with the same disinfectant on both sides. Be sure to let the skin completely dry before returning it over the keyboard

09-18-2009- Other Thoughts: I have tried a couple of laptop keyboard protectors and this is the best one. It stays in place, keeps out dust, pet hair, etc. Yes, it does take some getting used to, but I can type just fine and keeps my keyboard CLEAN! <br/> <br/>It adheres very well and does not slip. The one I had previously did get dirty from finger oils and when I washed it in soap and water it lost its ability to adhere to the keyboard. <br/> <br/>It isn't too thick and feels okay once you get used to it. <br/> <br/>Since this one is so inexpensive, as soon as it is smudgy and dirty looking, I will simply purchase another one. <br/> <br/>My previous one lasted about one year before I decided it was time to replace it.

09-20-2009- Other Thoughts: This keyboard protector is a good buy for a great price! It does what's intended to do, it's not too thick nor too thin, and you can feel the keys beneath your fingers, even with an added soft cushion. It fits fairly well my Lenovo N440, altough it's a little longer than I expected, but it works fine.

09-29-2009- Other Thoughts: I purchased this item and I love it! it does a wonderful job and surprisingly it doesn't over heat my computer! I had read reviews saying that it would and I haven't had an issue ever! Plus it keeps everything clean. A little different to get used to when typing. Feels funny at first. BUt over all a great buy and I don't regret it either!
