Great value, However I can see how the springs could fail after time with wear and tear. This light stand is inexpensive, so it is expected to not have the build quality of stands that are many times more expensive.

Basically, its incredibly convenient. Makes your light taller than most people, as long as they won't bump into it. I'd purchase again.

It's my first light stand. Although we use more expensive stands at work, this one meets my budget. Usual use is indoor/studio lighting but sometimes light outside shoot. I haven't tried using bigger strobes though. For it's price, it is meeting my needs.

The stand is solid and light weight; folds up in to a nice compact size and is easy to transport. If you have some speakers you want to get off the stage I recommend this stand.

I needed an alternative to mounting my projector; I didn't want to mount it to the ceiling and wall mount was out of the question (see my pic above). After much price comparisons and searching, I settled upon the Tripod Stand, it's well worth the money. The stand is very stable and east to use.

2 months ago I bought a video camera, but there was a bit of trouble, I did not have a very good tripod, I must have holding it all the time, it is a tiring thing for me. So I decided to buy one. It is easy to use, I can adjust the height according to my needs. Nice product!
