- Recently replaced my car stereo with one that has a USB port on the front and wanted a cable to connect my iPod to it. This cable is as near to perfect as I could hope. It allows me to keep my iPod charged while listening through the car stereo. This cable should work anywhere an Apple approved iPod/USB cable is needed without the excessive cost of the proprietary cable. Great bang for the buck. P-)

- Can I use the usb cable on my friend's ipod video and on my 2nd gen ipod touch?
Yes, they have the same standard plug, both of them can use this USB date cable.
- I have noticed that my USB pen drive (no cable) speed is a lot faster than my ipod speed (with cable). Does the length of a USB cable effect the data transfer rate?
No, iTunes and iPod are just slower programs with more data to transfer. And the speed is slow or fast that the length of the cable does not matter at all.
- Why does my Ipod crash when i connect it to its usb cable?? -it freezes-!!?
