- Recently replaced my car stereo with one that has a USB port on the front and wanted a cable to connect my iPod to it. This cable is as near to perfect as I could hope. It allows me to keep my iPod charged while listening through the car stereo. This cable should work anywhere an Apple approved iPod/USB cable is needed without the excessive cost of the proprietary cable. Great bang for the buck. P-)
