- The setup for your Sony PS3 gaming console will be a little different than that of any Sony console you've owned in the past. Instructions
- Set your Sony PS3 on a shelf or table where it isn't physically touching another piece of electronics equipment, like a cable box or digital converter box. - Plug your PS 3's power cable into a wall outlet or power strip
- Connect your PS3 to your television set. The PS3 comes with a set of composite cables (red, white and yellow in color) that can be used with standard definition televisions. If you have an HDTV, the PS3 also supports component video cables (red, blue and green) or HDMI cables (black), but both of these cables will have to be purchased separately. One end of the cable you choose to use plugs into the back of the PS3 (with outlets labeled "Out") and the other plugs into the back of your television (with outlets labeled "In")
- Press the "PS" button on the included Sony PS3 wireless controller. This will turn on your system, allowing you to use it for the first time

03-28-2012- Pros: What a Product, when my ps3 controller broke, I really did not want to spend 50-75 dollars on a new one. With this I was able to use my ps2 controller with my ps3 and it cost less that $5.
- Cons: NONE... if you do not mind saving money!!

- Cons: Vibration doesn't work but that's not really a big deal.
- Other Thoughts: I use this all the time when I play a game. It works great. Never noticed any lag. Does what it's supposed to do.

No, it will only work for ps2 to ps3, if you connect with PC, it will not work.
- Should I buy a regular PS3 controller or buy a PS2 to PS3 controller adapter and use my PS2 controllers on it?
Get the PS2 to PS3 controller adapter. It has vibration, motion sensing, and wireless. Yes, maybe it is more expensive, but it is worth it. Keep the second PS3 controller for multiplay.

Yes, it will. If the interface of the port is the same, they can work together. Don't worry about it.
