If you have an HDTV, the PS3 also supports component video cables (red, blue and green) or HDMI cables (black), but both of these cables will have to be purchased separately. One end of the cable you choose to use plugs into the back of the PS3 (with outlets labeled "Out") and the other plugs into the back of your television (with outlets labeled "In")
