- Delivered in a timely fashion, this cable provides a noticeable difference over the composite cable that comes standard. I can't see where paying any more for a cable make any more difference. it is in a noisy environment and there is no signal degradation with this cable.

- What's the difference between the HDMI and HD Component Cable for Xbox 360?
The advantage of HDMI is that it has digital video and audio all in one cable, while component cables uses 5 plugs for analog video and audio.If you have a 720p/1080i TV, you can use either one. There's practically no difference between the two. If you have 1080p, the picture might look better using HDMI, but it's not a huge difference. You can go with either one. It's just personal preference. If you don't want the cables getting tangled, then go HDMI.
- What does the switch on VGA Cable for Xbox 360 do?
The composite/component cable does have a switch. The switch changes the video feed from composite to component. Audio comes out of both the optical and the stereo RCA no matter which way the switch is set.
- Will there be an HDMI cable for the XBOX360?
No. The XBOX360 is incapable of outputting a Digital video signal in it's current configutation. A motherboard update would be required to support HDMI. The console's components design is flexable enough to allows this kind of update without having problems with games or need separate version of the dashboard.This means you would need to swap out your XBOX360 if you need HDMI and MS ever decides to add HDMI support.
