- Are whiteboard markers the only markers you can use on a whiteboard?
Yes. Unless you want it to be permanent you'll need to use the dry erase markers. I've seen many a whiteboard ruined by mixing up markers.
- How can you prove the ink of a whiteboard marker that is a mixture or a substance?
Take a piece of adsorbent paper and mark it with the marker then wet it with a solvent (alcohol, acetone, or lacquer thinner, whatever works) . When it dries the components will separate out like tie dye. This is a crude form of chromatography.
- How do I get whiteboard marker off the whiteboard?
If bleach didn't take it off, it may have settled deeply into the board. Keep trying that, but let it sit for several minutes and then wipe with hot paper towel. Do it several times. You may also want to get some whiteboard cleaner from your store.
