Flip Video Digital Camcorder Instructions:

The Flip Video camcorder is a popular easy to use digital video camera compatible with internet video sharing websites. It contains its own software installer to use on your computer, and video cables to connect to your television. The Flip camera is easily operated with one hand, and records video to a built-in memory card. The included software allows you to view all your recorded videos, transfer them to your computer's hard drive, and email them

Slide the small switch on the bottom of the camcorder to the unlock position labeled with an opened padlock icon. Press downward on the camera's front cover and the panel will slide off revealing the battery compartment. Install the included batteries according to the markings in the battery compartment

Replace the front cover and slide the switch on the bottom to the locked position. Locate the power button on the top of the camcorder and slide it away from its spring loaded position to power on the camcorder. The power switch will always return to its default position. The camcorder will beep as it powers on

Locate the "Start/Stop" button under the screen of the camcorder. Press the button once and use the screen to frame your subject while recording a few moments of video. Press the "+" and "-" buttons to zoom in and out while recording. Press the large red button again to stop recording

Press the "Play" button, labeled with a small triangle inside of a square, to review your recordings on the camera's screen. Use the left and right facing triangle buttons to navigate through each video if you have recorded more than one

Power off the camcorder by sliding the power switch. Slide the large switch on the side of the camera to deploy the USB connector.
