Care & Maintenance:
- Keep all parts and accessories out of young children's reach
- Fingerprints or dirt on the lens surface can adversely affect camera performances. Avoid touching the lens with your fingers
- Should the lens become dirty, use a blower to blow off dirt and dust, or a soft dry cloth to wipe off the lens
- Keep the camera dry. Precipitation, humidity and other liquids contain minerals that will corrode electronic circuits
- Do not use or store in dusty, dirty areas
- Do not store in hot areas. High temperature can shorten the life of electronic devices and warp or melt certain plastics.
- Do not store in very cold areas. When the system warms up, the moisture can form inside the case, which may damage electronic circuit boards
- Do not attempt to open the case. Non-expert handing of the device may damage the system
- Avoid dropping or strong shocks
- Operate the product using only the power supply include or provided as an accessory
- Do not overload electrical outlets or extension coeds. This can result in fire or electric shocks
- Do remember that you are using public airwaves when you use the system and that sound and video may be broadcast to other 2.4GHz receiving devices. Conversations, even from the room near the camera, may be broadcast. To protect the privacy of your home, always turn the camera off when not in use
How to Set Up a Camera Security System?
Camera security systems have become relatively inexpensive over the past few years, certainly contributing to their steady rise in popularity within homes across America. Not only do these systems give your home an added level of security, also giving you peace of mind, they're also quite easy to install with the right materials and a little ingenuity.
- Select the location you wish to monitor and mount your camera within the general area. High vantage points with the camera pointed downward are typically considered the best angles for capturing large areas.
- Connect the video output jack of the wireless receiver with the video input jack of the monitor using the yellow-headed composite video cable. Both jacks will be painted yellow, indicating video.
- Turn on all the devices, setting the monitor to the proper video channel. Generally this is the channel below "001" (or channel "000") and is typically labeled "AUX" or "VIDEO."
- Synch the wireless receiver to the wireless camera's frequency by scanning through the receiver's frequencies until the image from the camera appears on the monitor. This is similar to scanning through radio stations.
- Place the monitor and receiver in the room you wish to serve as your monitoring center.

05-18-2011- Other Thoughts: I was reluctant to buy this because of some of the reviews, but did so anyway and am glad I did. I also purchased an additional camera, which gives me coverage of my entire yard and front entrance. My cameras are not mounted far away from the receiver/monitor, so I get great reception and a crystal clear picture. I like that I can take the monitor to the back of my house, however the reception does get a little fuzzy the further away from the cameras. During the day, the monitor displays color images; at night it's black & white. What's really nice is the microphone which can pick up conversations from across the street. This camera system is not for everyone of course, but it has served my needs well. I've had the system for about four months, and no problems at all.

05-31-2011- Other Thoughts: Worked within 5 minutes right out of the box. Great picture upstairs when camera is downstairs. It will be interesting to see if the night vision lights reflect off the glass since I have the camera inside, pointing outside. No issues so far. Picture is very clear. Sound as well. Interface is very easy.

05-03-2011- Other Thoughts: We use this as our baby monitor and absolutely love it. The night vision camera makes it especially valuable to peek in at our snoozing little one without disturbing her. Night vision is black and white (standard for night vision) and the normal daytime has great vibrant color. <br/>She's not standing yet, so we just have this perched on the top of her crib. We will need to mount to a wall or just set on a nearby dresser when she gets mobile.

05-21-2011- Other Thoughts: This product can be great depending on your purpose for use. I bought this camera to try to catch the guy hopping my patio railing and peeping in my windows. It not only covers the area in front of my patio door but also the "blind spot" that I can not normally see. Even considering a few minor setbacks with it, I am still happy to have bought it.

06-02-2011- Other Thoughts: This product works perfectly well for indoor/outdoor use. It can also be used as a baby monitor. Materials of camera and LCD monitor are very durable. Features are just as described by the vendor and Amazon. It makes your money worth.
