12-10-2009- Other Thoughts: Usual Wolf-Eyes top drawer build quality applies, and rechargeable set up is very convenient. This is as near as a torch gets to an offensive weapon(without hitting someone with it).

10-01-2009- Other Thoughts: Looks to me like the A9 has a brighter hotspot than the Thunder! I'm kinda in shock I guess! Now I need a HID light... Thanks for the great comparison!

07-28-2009- Other Thoughts: It is a HID light (like expensive car headlights), has a removable battery magazine which take 3x LRB-168 (18650) batteries, I bought a spare mag and 3 batteries. The charger plugs into the mag for charging and lights up green when fully charged. The magazine also has a button on the end of it and if you press it on 3 small led's light up telling you the batteries still have juice in them.

06-03-2009- Other Thoughts: Simply the best flashlight, it has no comparison with the output light of the HID bulb, little more thickness but the amount of light is amazing, the duration of the battery of 2400 mAh it is of 1.32h to 23C.

- What's the difference between HID and regular lights?
HID is the bulb type. The color produced by the bulb is rated in Kelvins. From 3000k up to 20000k. Goes from yellow to purple. 6000k is the default color and is brilliant white with a slight blue tint.
- Does HID run hot? Do I need to worry about the housing?
No, in fact 24W HID bulb run relatively cooler than their Halogen counterparts. Our flashlights are true HID bulbs, draw less power and produce less heat.
- How long can I expect my flashlight's HID lamp (bulb)to last?
Your lamp should run for approximately 1000 hours before it burns out. The lifespan will vary depending on how it is used.
