Size in Detail:

How to Install a Car Power Inverter:
- Park the vehicle and open the hood. Disconnect the battery by loosening the positive cable with a wrench and pulling it free with your hand
- Mount the power inverter. Pick a location which will allow plenty of air flow around the inverter as they heat up when used. A typical mounting location is on the lower kick panel in the passenger side of the vehicle under the dash
- Wire the inverter. Run a length of wire from the positive side of the inverter to the car's battery by running the wire through a grommet in the firewall
- Connect the wires. Connect the new positive and negative wires to the wires coming from the inverter to the wires you installed into the vehicle by placing terminal ends on the wires and crimping them in place in the same manner as the positive wire at the battery

Other Thoughts: I bought this Car Power Inverter after my sisters laptop charger broke at the plug and was sparking. Got this product with and in time for Christmas, and it started charging it with no problem. Now her laptop doesn't charge at all and I feel it is the motherboard not the charger. Charger still lights up so I think it is just the laptop. I would buy again product does exactly what it says it should do, charge her gateway laptop.

Other Thoughts: Read the directions FIRST. There is an adjustment for the voltage. I didn't notice that for a few minutes and thought I had a problem. worked perfect after we identified the the voltage.

Other Thoughts: I bought this Universal Laptop Adapter for my toshiba and already wrote a review because the plug was not right, but the company emailed me after reading I was unhappy and sent me another free one that would work better . The new one is perfect and customer service was awesome to talk to.

Other Thoughts: This is a great Universal Laptop Adapter. Just remember to set all voltages / amperage before connecting to laptop. there is not a protective cover over the voltage adjustment switch, I placed a small peice of black electrical tape over it to keep from accidental changes (dose not look to bad and matches nice).It would be nice if there was a small bag included for component storage for the adapters not being used.Over all I am happy with purchase. :)
