    What Are the Main Differences Between HDMI and DVI?

    • DVI is a video-only cable standard. It sends digital video packets from the signal source to an output display. HDMI works in the same way. The difference is that HDMI also supports audio. With HDVI v1.3, 7.1 high-definition audio is supported as well.
    • HDMI has backing by content providers and media studios for the inclusion of High-bandwidth Digital Copy Protection (HDCP). HDCP protects copyrighted content through devices connected via HDMI. DVI does not support HDPC. HDCP protected content will not display on a device without HDCP support.

If you have an HDMI outlet on the side of your HD tv, this is the ticket to keep a big loop of cable from sticking out and looking ugly, or alternately being bent so severely that the wire inside the cable is broken. If you use a bracket to mount your TV on a wall, this is almost a necessity. Very well made, very good price. No problems.

This HDMI adapter is great if you have a tight spot and don't want to force the cable to bend awkwardly. Its simple and works.

Ran out of HDMI inputs on the back of my TV, but had two on the side. Unfortunately, when using these inputs, the HDMI cords would stick out obtrusively from the side of the TV. This gadget eliminated that problem, and the cords remain hidden at a right angle behind the TV. Perfect.

I looked at a lot of these, the double swivel is fantastic and greatly exceeds the ability of the other adapters I've seen on the market. Also about half the price. Can't beat that.

Very flexible, very sturdy, very handy... I am pleased with this little tool. Just enabled me to use an HDMI port which was previosly unavailable to me because of cramped space. Excellent.
