Capacitive Touch Screen
A capacitive touchscreen panel consists of an insulator such as glass, coated with a transparent conductor (mostly indium tin oxide). As the human body is also a conductor, touching the surface of the screen results in a distortion of the body's electrostatic field, measurable as a change in capacitance. Unlike its resistive counterpart, capacitive touch screens must be touched by a human finger or some sort of conductive device being held by a human hand. The figure on the right from Electronic Design shows how does capacitive screens work. Examples of devices with capacitive touchscreens are the iPhone and the T-Mobile G1.

Disadvantages:
- Needs a human finger to register input. It is not possible to use this screen wearing gloves
- Cannot be used in all weather scenarios
On touchscreen displays, multi-touch refers to the ability to simultaneously register three or more distinct positions of input touches. It is often used to describe other, more limited implementations, like Gesture-Enhanced Single-Touch, Dual-Touch or real Multi-Touch.-
The most popular form are mobile devices (iPhone, iPod Touch), touchtables (Microsoft Surface) and walls. Both touchtables and touch walls project an image through acrylic or glass, and then back-light the image with LEDs. When a finger or an object touches the surface, causing the light to scatter, the reflection is caught with sensors or cameras that send the data to software which dictates response to the touch, depending on the type of reflection measured. - Cons: Could do without chinese programs for customers outside of china, but no big deal.
- Other Thoughts: Daughter is loving it. Installed Skype and she has used it already a few times even though Skype is officially not supported on this product (by Skype).

The processor on the core ARM Cortex A8 with high frequency to 1.2 GHz, which is a positive effect on overall performance, works in conjunction with a graphics core Mali-400, which provides a sufficiently high performance in 3D applications.

09-03-2012- Pros: Покупал для родственника. Это уже второй продукт от Ainol. Если сравнивать со второй Авророй, то этот планшет немного более "тормозной" и его экран чуть менее чувствителен. Зато и цена меньше. Качество сборки отличное. Все нужные программы и игры идут без проблем. Приятная мелочь - в поставку планшета включен переходник для USB. Вещь стоит своих денег.
- Cons: Немного "дубоватый" экран, если сравнивать со второй Авророй или топовыми планшетами.
