How to Maintain Shoes?
Dealing with Toxic Shoe Polish:
- Wear gloves, when you use shoe polish as they contain toxics that can be absorbed through the skin or inhaled
- While polishing shoes never consume alcohol
- Shoe polish must be kept out of reach of children and pets
- Use it in a well-ventilated area
- Use the entire shoe polishes at one go and any residue should be discarded
- Discard rags or clothes that have come in contact with the polish
- The discarded shoe polish must be handled as a hazardous household substance
Alternatives to Shoe Polish:
- A shoe repair can clean and polish shoes for you
- Test this on a small spot on the shoe. Rub the leather shoes with the inside of a banana peel Use a soft cloth to buff and shine
- Take a small amount of olive oil or walnut oil and work it on the shoe. Polish with a soft cloth
- Traditional method of Shoe Polis
Shoes Polish Knowledge:
- Liquid Polish - Dries quickly, not available in different colors, not long lasting
- Shoe Polish Paste - Long lasting but messy and slow to work with
- Shoe Polish Cream - Available in a variety of colors, great compromise
- Choose a small area of the shoe to test the color. Apply the polish and rub it into the shoe with a soft cloth and let it dry. Once dry, buff the shoes with a soft cloth or shine them with the specified brush

11-15-2010- Other Thoughts: I ordered these boots and admittedly I was unsure about them until I put them on and now I couldn't be happier. They are comfortable, look great over jeans and I can't wait to wear them under skirts this fall/winter. If you're not so stable in heels I'd give them a test run or two before wearing them to an all night event. They are comfortable, chic, and for the price, a STEAL! I usually wear an 8.5 and these were a bit big for an 8.5 but they fit perfectly with a thicker pair of soxs.

08-31-2011- Pros: This boots good for value and great colour. The heels not too high and comfortable to walk in even thou i have not worn it yet.
- Cons: I wish the boots were higher, and the toe were more pointer than round shape

10-29-2010- Other Thoughts: So, my boots arrived several days ahead of schedule which was great! They were wrapped individually in plastic and boxed up nicely. The faux black suede is rich and soft and doesn't have that gross "fake suede" look...The platform and heel of the boot make them look very high end. The heel is a definite stiletto. The toe is slightly rounded but pointed enough to look current.

10-04-2010- Other Thoughts: It's very warm so it can keet your feet comfortable after walking in winter street.Some one may suggest you to buy half size bigger than your normal size, but from my point, it's not necessary. I usually wear 6.5 or 7, so I bought 7.5, then there's pretty much space left in the shoes that I can put two or three of my fingers into it.

10-14-2010- Other Thoughts: The reason I give it 4 stars is that I have a little trouble with the zipper. However, it is not a major issue that I would return them. The left zipper is a little stiff and hard to get up and down. They are so warm and comfortable. I usually wear a 6 1/2, and I ordered a 7. I am so glad I did because they fit perfectly. So make sure you order a 1/2 size up.
