In the year of 2011, Googel shows the system of Honeycomb which can be used in the Android tablet operation in CES. We are impressed by its gorgeous display. Some equipment suppliers such as  MOTO 、 Asus and so on declare sharply they will bring up android tablet soon in CES. Though in the year of 2010, the sales volume of ipad has been up to 15000 thousand which is enviable. But after Google publishes Honeycomb, if you pay attention to the news of 2010, it is not difficult to find that android tablet will be the most threaten to ipad even to defeat ipad. Everyone think so.

Year of 2010, it is no doubt that android has succeeded in the smartphone market. In America, the market share in January is up to 1/3 of the end of last year, it is the first time that android tablet surpasses Apple.

Year of 2011,android attracts so many hardware equipment manufacturers, lots of technology commentators all forecast that in the end of 2011 android tablet will occupy most of the market. But, the prediction hasn’t been true until now.

In the year of 2011, it is reported that in the tablet market, the rate of utilization of android tablet is between 15% to 30%.But after the track the netflow of tablet, ComScore comes to a conclusion that ipad occupies 95%, in the world it occupies 88% which means the rate of utilization of android tablet is not so high. Maybe people have got it, but they don’t use it often. Or the customers who have bought android tablet are not so many by the reports. Maybe the two reasons both exist.

(1)Google don’t want to imitate the 4：3 resolution of ipad, so it changes to 16:9, it seems as it is good. But the problem is that when you take the tablet which the image is 16:9, it is wired. It is just like you take a laptop without keyboard. It is not like the ipad which the image is 4:3, the feel is that it is a book or magazine, it is light. The other problem of android tablet is that if you change the image style to Portrait model, the screen is flat.

(2)It is lack of its own development and application

Except the resolution of 16:9, the platform itself is terrible. There are so many third-part developers develop applications and games for Google, but have you seen the Google + application? Have you seen Google finance and economics application for Android tablet? Compared to developing its own application, Google seems that it is prone to rely on third part developers to set up the HTML5 application which can move among different platforms.
