How to Choose a Backpack:

Choose a backpack based on the amount and types of usage you anticipate. A good backpack will meet your needs, be affordable, and will provide ample durability.- Choose your backpack based on the anticipated kind of use. If you plan to use it as a carry-all for work or school supplies, nylon or canvas are excellent options. Durable and easy to clean, most of these backpacks are lightweight yet strong enough to support an abundance of daily necessities. This type of backpack is typically quite affordable
- Carry a business backpack if you travel frequently for business. Designed to hold laptop computers, books, files and supplies, they are typically constructed of extra-strength nylon or canvas materials. Many have a hard plastic exterior shell for added protection, and nearly all feature inside padding for extra cushioning for the laptop
- Select a sports-type backpack if you plan to use your backpack for day trips and/or hiking. Lightweight and water-resistant, these packs tend to feature outside pockets for easy access to water or other beverages. Many of them have an insulated compartment as well, allowing backpackers to carry food or medication that requires cooling
- Consider an outdoors/sportsman's backpack if you are a serious distance hiker or plan to use your backpack for camping trips. Many of these packs feature an air pocket. Small, durable plastic bags are inflated to fill these pockets, thus creating a cushion that serves as a buffer between the carrier's back and the heaviest point of impact with the backpack.Regardless of your plans, there is a backpack to fit almost anyone's likes and needs. Decide before buying what the primary use for the backpack will be, and how often it will be used. This will help determine what kind of money should be invested in the backpack
- Choose a stylish backpack if fashion is a priority. Backpacks made of leather, fabric and even faux fur round out the assortment available for those preferring flair with their functionality. Many big-name handbag designers have stylish backpacks as part of their repertoire
How to Organize a School Backpack:

Backpacks are a godsend when it comes to carting books, papers and school supplies throughout your day. But they can easily become a nightmare if they are a mashed-up, jumbled mess. You can organize a school backpack, and keep it that way, by using common sense and a few simple steps. Read more to learn how to make your school day heavenly.- Place all contents in front of you. This should give you an array of notebooks, text books, folders, writing instruments and anything else you are going to need to put in your backpack
- Set aside any loose pens, pencils, rules, erasers and other objects that do not stack up neatly. Place loose items into the side pockets of your backpack. If these do not fit, place the items in a pencil box or small zip-lock bag. You may also purchase a pencil holder bag at a school supply store or use a cosmetic travel bag for the items
- Put frequently needed items in their own pile. Here's where you place your hairbrush, class schedule, locker combination card, favorite pen and any other items you will be needed several times throughout the day. These items should be placed in the front pocket of your backpack, or in a small zip-lock bag
- Pile all the notebooks and folders in one stack, textbooks in another. Size matters. You want the flattest, biggest items to be flush against your back. Each size should have its own pile. For instance, large folders will form one pile, spiral notebooks a second, large text books a third and smaller books, like paperbacks, a fourth
- Arrange each pile in chronological order. If you have math class followed by English, Chemistry and then Cultural Studies, order the math notebook, respective folder and textbook at the top of the heap. Follow with the next class and so on
- Fill the main compartment of your backpack. Place the folders and other larger, flat items flush against the back of the pack. Follow with the appropriate notebooks and textbooks. Finish off with the smallest books in the front of the pack. Place your water bottle, pencil packs and other small items in the front on either side of the small books

09-22-2011- Other Thoughts: This backpack is the BEST one I have purchased! My son is in mid-school and they do not have lockers. Everything goes in his backpack it weighs a lot. I was buying a backpack for him every 3-5 moths because the zipper broke or straps or whatever. <br/>But this situation doesn’t happen to this school bag! High quality! Nice one!

06-29-2011- Other Thoughts: My nephew loved the school backpack! He is a freshman in high school and has to carry all his books with him all day since he doesn't have time to hit his locker in between classes. It's big enough to allow him to carry them as comfortable as possible! Thanks for the great product and the reasonable price!

06-10-2011- Other Thoughts: I have large books and a half hour walk to and from the train station each day. Unlike other backpack I've tried, the s shaped straps of this one have not yet to start ripping or fraying apart from the bag. Fantastic!

05-19-2011- Other Thoughts: This is a good backpack. It is very sturdy. I got it for my middle school son because he ripped through his backpack less than a week. If you are looking for a good and roomy no frills backpack for school, this one has worked out great for my son.

04-30-2011- Other Thoughts: I really like the school backpack it can carry a lot of books. The pouches are really roomy. It won’t cut into my shoulders when fully loaded. It could be a better design with the straps.
