How to Choose a Lunch Box:
Your choice of lunch box reflects your inner self. Are you strong and quirky like an old metal lunch box? Light and colorful like a plastic lunch box? Or soft and cozy like a lunch bag? Here are some things to consider when choosing your lunch box.
- Instructions
- Consider what you'll use the lunch box to carry. Use a tough metal or plastic lunch box to protect foods that can bruise, break or smush. If you plan to pack your foods in plastic containers, a soft lunch bag is fine.
- Choose a lunch box or lunch bag that is large enough to accommodate all your items without having them move around when jostled.
- Consider how you'll be handling your lunch box. If you'll have to fit it in your backpack or book bag, a hard exterior will keep your food from being squashed.
- Purchase a soft-bodied, insulated lunch bag if you'll be carrying items that need to be kept cool or hot. Few hard-shell lunch boxes offer insulation.
- Purchase an insulated beverage container (either with the lunch box or separately) just in case you decide to bring along a little soup, coffee or another beverage.
- Think about the image you'd like to project to your coworkers and companions, and choose your lunch box accordingly. Most plastic and metal lunch boxes will carry images of some sort, including superheroes, cartoon characters and even political figures.

03-09-2011- Other Thoughts: We've been using the LunchBot Uno and Duo almost every day for my 5-year old's kindergarten lunch. He's able to easily open everything and the duo is perfect to accomodate enough of 2 foods for for his smaller appetite. They seem well-made and durable, so I suspet they're going to be with us for a long time!

03-03-2011- Other Thoughts: I love Practical Lunch Box! They make really good containers and their Uno Lunch Containers is no exception. I bought the Pico, Uno, and Eco for my lunch set. I usually on need one of them for the lunches I prepare, but I like having the different options. As a bonus the Pico and Uno fit nicely in the Eco for storage. I find these contains to be well constructed and nice fitting lids and no sharp edges. It would be nice if they were water tight, but it wasn't a necessity for me.

02-11-2011- Other Thoughts: 4 months into everyday use and these boxes are holding up great. My oldest daughter carries her in the lunchbox with a stainless water bottle so the blue paint is scratch (obviously, not a fault of the product). Spacious enough for a sandwich, and some chips. They are very sturdy. Kids like them and I love the health and environmental benefits.

01-26-2011- Other Thoughts: Love my Plastic Lunch Box! I have many of their containers of varying sizes and LOVE them all! They hold quite a bit and even though the lids don't snap on, I haven't had any issues with the lids coming off in my lunchbag. They wash up very well and are dishwashwer safe. They also look as nice now as the day I got them even after daily trips through the dishwasher...no paint chiping, scratching, etc. Overall, very pleased and have been back to purchase several more.

01-13-2011- Other Thoughts: My only complaint about this item is that the compartments aren't isolated, so if you have something wet in one compartment it can spill over into the other two compartments. The outer seal is great and keeps everything locked in very well. The bag that comes with it is nice and being able to take the inner dishes out to wash in the dish washer is a bonus. I would also liked to have seen some matching utensils available to go with it.

01-03-2011- Other Thoughts: This bento box is very nicely designed and very practical. The phrase written on the box and the bag is a bit cheesy though. I wish I'd known what it said beforehand. It says "It is so wonderful to be able to maintain your dreams".

12-15-2010- Other Thoughts: I ordered this Plastic Lunch Box hesitantly I have to admit. I thought the price was too good to be true. But once I received it I was pleasantly surprised. Lunchbox is just as big as my sons which was much more expensive and the bottle wasn't as cheap as I expected. Well worth the price and the waiting.

12-08-2010- Other Thoughts: I purchased this Portable Lunch Box for my preschool aged son. It is very attractive and seems to be well made. It cleans easily, although I do hand-wash it every night. The only thing that I am dissapointed about is that it would have been nice to know that all the food does not stay separated. I usually give him some sort of fruit and crackers along with a sandwich. The crackers and fruit end up getting mixed and he has soggy sweet crackers which he doesn't usually eat.I would just advise that you think about the ingredients that you put into this box and imagine if they mix, how would they taste? -Florida USA
