About Bicycle Lights
When it comes to riding a bicycle, safety is of utmost importance. Purchasing biking implements such as deflectors and bells helps you ride a bike safely during both day and night hours. It is more hazardous for you to ride at night, so using a light increases your visibility to other vehicle drivers.
Significance
- A bicycle light allows you to be more visible during evening hours, reducing the chance of being hit or colliding with another object. Function

Misconceptions

- Many states require bicycle lights after dusk. Inquire about your local bicycle laws to avoid citations and traffic violations while riding in the evening. If your law has a minimum visibility distance for lights, test your bicycle lighting system at the required distance to ensure that you will be visible to other vehicles.

06-23-2011- Other Thoughts: this light is great in its functionality, which is TO BE SEEN by on comers. it's not necessarily meant to be able to light your path though. unless your path is directly 4 ft. in front of you, which, if your going over 5-10 mph, won't be far enough to do anything about what you might hit. that said, for the price, and the super-cool, easy bracket, this is a deal.

06-04-2011- Other Thoughts: One has to temper the amount of light it puts out with cost, AND how one uses it. For me, this is a perfect combo as I live in a very urban city and only really need it for the occasional Park rides. I could IMAGINE it being very useful in other situations, but certainly NOT for riding hell bent with no moonlight through a dense forest. BUT at a far more leisurely pace, I'd find it useful in that situation.

05-12-2011- Other Thoughts: This light really lights up the road well. It's easy to install. Some have mentioned it don't fit tight enough on the bar handle. I just wrapped some electrical tape around the bar enough so when I installed it on my bar it was snug.

04-19-2011- Other Thoughts: The light can be seen from a far distance away. Like I said , its very bright and with the flashing mode , would definatly warn the drivers of your presence . A very good buy , you would not be disappointed, go for it .

04-02-2011- Other Thoughts: Very good product .......bought it after reading the reviews on here . I was still a bit skeptical about the actual quality of light which would come out of this bicycle light ,but I was sure not disappointed . The beam which comes out , is very bright and very focussed . It forms a small circle / elliptical shape on the light beam in front and very clear + bright .

03-23-2011- Other Thoughts: I've had mine for almost two years of heavy use. The light is very bright, providing a great deal of visibility and some illumination of the road in front, which is enough for the city, and batteries last a very long time. Most pleasingly, the mounting system is very durable and it seems likely that it will withstand several years of regular use. The unit appears to be impervious to rain. As with all of the gear I've purchased from Planet Bike, a superior level of design is evident. A good, basic LED Bicycle Front Light.
