How to Install a Security Camera in Your Office:

• Decide whether you need complete area coverage--that is, to see every single area of the office--or whether it's enough to watch over certain strategic areas
• Plan out which view angles will be most helpful. You may want more than one view angle on critical areas such as cash boxes or the main door. Other useful areas to install cameras include the stock and/or break room, hallways and anywhere that expensive or sensitive equipment or proprietary information is stored
• Locate the mounting brackets and hardware for your cameras. These are usually specialized to the camera system and, if not present, must be purchased from the manufacturer
• Walk back from the object(s) you've chosen to observe with the camera, tracing your path along the angle of view you had decided on. Stop when you find a convenient location for the camera 
• Hold the mounting bracket in place on the ceiling or wall. Mark the holes in it with a pencil 
• Remove the bracket from the wall and pre-drill mounting holes. Place the bracket back against the wall and screw it into place, then attach the camera
