Operating Instruction:

• Insert the TF card into the TF card slot on the left, start it by pressing the switching. The operation indicator will be ON when the product is started up and a "Welcome" will appear. Wait for 3s until the product is ready. The TF card will be read when the product is under a standby state. The higher the capacity of the card is, the longer the reading time needs (3-5s)
• Press the Video to start the video function under the standby state, every video clip lasts 2min. An unlimited loop recording is allowed. Repress the Video to perform an automatic storage of clips and go back to the standby state; 2 video types (2min) are provided and the pixels of which are 1280 x 720 and 720 x 480 respectively
• Pictures can be taken by pressing the Camera (1 picture / press) under the standby state
• VGA-HD Change-Over Switch-For video: VGA=720X480, HD=1280X720; For USB mode: the product, when stopped, can be connected to the USB of your computer. VGA= USB flash disk memory, HD=PC CAM (network camera)
• The RESET can be used to restart the product if a crash is caused by an abnormal operation or running environment
• Press the Play for 3s to start the Play Mode, the files can be played and paused by short pressing the Play under the Play Mode; The Camera and Video mean Last and Next respectively. Quit the Play Mode by pressing the Play for 3s to return to the standby state
• A low battery signal will appear on the screen when the product is under low battery, charge the product as soon as possible
• The Video function will be started if the red light is ON under the charging mode, press Video to pause and keep the charging mode. If a prolonged video record is needed, no any other operation is allowed under the charging mode

How to Build a Car Camera Mount

Even with Steady shot technology built in to most new camcorders, capturing shots out of the window of a moving vehicle can be tricky. The motion of the vehicle and the irregularities of the road can challenge even the most careful cameraman. To avoid camera shake, you should build a car camera mount for your vehicle. This mount is designed to capture steady moving shots out of the front, rear and side windows of your vehicle.

• Pull up the two front seat headrests of your car as high as they will go. Measure the outside distance between the headrest posts with the measuring tape. This is the measurement you will use to cut the length of the pre-drilled angle iron
• Cut the pre-drilled angle iron to length with the hacksaw. Cut carefully and try not to create a jagged edge. If you do make a jagged edge, file it smooth with the metal file
• Place the angle iron between the two headrests. Make sure the angle iron rests flat against the headrest posts. The angle iron should rest against the headrest posts in an inverted "L" shape
• Attach the angle iron firmly to the headrest posts with the four cable ties. Cut off the excess length of the cable ties with the wire cutters
• Push the two headrests back down to help lock the mount in place
• Line up your camcorder's tripod screw hole with the central hole in the pre-drilled angle iron. Place the large washers on the 3/4-inch bolt. Screw the bolt through the angle iron and into your camcorder's tripod screw hole
