How to Maintain a Car DVD Player:Package Included:

- Start basic and simply make sure the device is plugged in properly to the power outlet. You want to check for shorts in the power supply cord as well by jiggling the cord around and seeing if the device turns on and off
- Check the connections the DVD player has to the television set to make sure it is hooked up properly and that all connections are still functioning. Sometimes connections can come a bit loose and this can cause you to have problems as well. Tighten up the connections and see if the player begins working correctly
- Unscrew the DVD player housing and remove it from the device. Lift the clamp so that the DVD player lens is exposed for you to clean
- Take your canned air and spray away any dust off of the lens and any other part of the inside of the DVD player to remove excessive dust and build up. If a build up of dust gets on the lens, it will be unable to read the DVD discs you insert into your DVD player. It is good to routinely give your DVD player a good cleaning even when working properly to avoid build up
- Replace the DVD player housing and secure it back in place using the screwdriver. Turn on your DVD player and test your repairs. If the DVD player is still not working correctly, you may want to remove the DVD and give it a good cleaning as well with your canned air and wiping it with a soft cloth
- This is a rich featured GPS navigation and media system. We recommend carefully reading the user manual for your most satisfactory user experience.
- The unit includes an evaluation version GPS software package. You should download/purchase an updated software package from your home country that best covers your region of the world.

03-28-2011- Other Thoughts: Great Product. Moved to wifes car and bought this as upgrade. Love the SD card slot. Love the new interface. But best feature (for me) Was the dual zone. Had a kenwood before with dual zone and didnt realize what it did or what it was for untill right before I bought new pioneer unit and then pioneer 4100 didnt have it. Love to be able to let kid watch movies and now I can get back to listening to my music all day everyday. Sound deff. sounds better on this than previous model. Clock shows date and time, nice feature. Also Ipod load times are much faster. Wiuld recommend to anyone looking for a great dvd player for rear monitor. With bypass for parking brake makes much more useable. BUY!

05-26-2011- Other Thoughts: Unit is fine, i have the older Car DVD Player, the only problem is that the motorized display is not working, so i can not use DVD's or SD cards. Customer service of Amazon solve my problem sending me a new unit, hope this works!.

04-06-2011- Other Thoughts: This is by far the best Media Car player I've own, also got the iPod, XM and bluetooth add on's and its a complete media center on the go, just love it. Nice custom screen feature makes it match your can interior lights and the menu functions are awesome.

05-03-2011- Other Thoughts: First things first. Best dash ever without a doubt my only issue was i didnt know i had a premium sound system in my car so i had to pay for a few extra harnesses and preamps for it to work in my vehicle correctly. Other than the extra $274 i had to pay to have it installed, the dash is the best i have ever owned and the interface is near flawless.
