How to Connect Motorcycle LED Lights:
- Locate areas under the motorcycle body or fairing where you would like to install the LED lights. Ensure that there are no hot motorcycle parts close to the locations you pick
- Clean the areas where you will be installing the lights with alcohol prep pads. This removes the dirt and grime. Allow the alcohol to dry thoroughly so the LEDs will have a clean, dry surface to attach to
- Remove the adhesive backings on the LEDs and install them by pressing them firmly against the motorcycle surface. Most LED light strips are flexible and can be curved around the fairing for better illumination
- Remove the seat and run the wires through the frame of the body to underneath the seat where the battery is located. The wires should not be visible on the outside of the bike
- Collect all the wires and tighten them together with a wire tie. This keeps the wires organized
- Loosen the terminal bolts on the motorcycle battery by using your screwdriver. Tighten the terminal bolts back into place so they firmly hold the wires down
- Start your motorcycle and watch your LEDs light up. If all or some of the LEDs are not operating properly, check the battery terminal connections first to ensure that they are tight. If the problem is not resolved, check the clamp connector wiring to ensure that all the wires are stripped properly and in full contact with the inside of the connector

04-26-2011- Other Thoughts: I think they would be a great replacement for our fluorescent under counter lights of similar length and they really are; the light provided is as bright as the fluorescents and the LED light is blue.

03-29-2011- Other Thoughts: The lights rock. Incredibly bright. Gorgeous. I am uncertain of precise remote controller operation, nonetheless, these things generate an overwhelming glorious light effect I am using on my boat, and will also be installing in a dry area in outdoor entertaining area. <br/> <br/>Had some problems with getting them to work initially. Customer service was fantastic. Proved to be operator error. Will shop here again, and recommend it to others.

09-23-2009- Other Thoughts: I bought four of these strips, they arrived as cheduled, and work really good. I installed three of them on my car and the interior lighting is now awesome, a very cool and bright light. It can really create some kind of romantic atmosphere in the car. Price was good. Recommend it to you.

- How do I create a strip of LED lights?
To set up a strip of LEDs, choose a substrate, that is, the material the LEDs will be mounted on.
Usually circuit board material or plastic. This sellection may be the most challange to your ability to find useful stuff. Drill it equal distantly with two holes set apart for the LED pins. You may wish to make a drill fixture to keep the holes accurate.
You must have a source of Direct Current and know how much current the LED needs to turn on and the voltage drop. Then you need the current limited for the LEDS with a resistor. The resistor value = (source voltage - voltage drop) / current on.
