How to get a cat into a carrier?
- So most cats aren't a big fan of their carrier whether you have a small cardboard carrier or a large crate like this. You can make it more comfortable for them by adding things like a blanket in there.
- I have actually placed something in here that has a little bit of rubber on the bottom and that makes it so that it won't slide around which is a little bit easier for your cat because then you're not concerned that they're going to be sliding around on that surface and feel like they're going to be falling out of the carrier.

It is good to know that, although it measures 19 inches at the top, it tapers down to 17 inches on the bottom...I measured it. <br/> <br/>I bought it for a kitten, but I did try it out on my 11 pound cat and it seemed snug. The cat can fit in, but he can't move at all. The kitten I bought it for is 4 months old and 4.7 pounds. I posted a photo above. I like the way the carrier can be opened on just one side, or you can open the whole top. It has a nice little rug inside for the cat to lie on. <br/> <br/>I am very happy with the carrier!

02-05-2011- Other Thoughts: This is a really nice cat carrier, I have a very large 18 lb cat that fits nicely in this carrier. She has enough room to turn around but thats about it. The carrier is sturdy and has a place for treats, leash, etc. The best thing about this carrier is it is sooo cute!

01-31-2011- Other Thoughts: This is the best canvas cat carrier for cats ever. It's top loading which is a plus especially for cats that like to struggle. You can get them in and out without a problem. The sizing is generous even for those who may have a chubby kitty. I don't find the handles to be a hassle to carry.

01-21-2011- Other Thoughts: I was informed that this tote cat carrier is the best carrier for a cat. I take her for rides to get used to being in the car open the top and she sticks her head out but doesn't try to jump out! she then settles down and is calm as long as I can pet her and she can see me.
