- Celebrity dresses have several design options. Celebrities are known for wearing a wide range of outrageous, stylish and stunningly beautiful dresses on the red carpet. The dresses worn by celebrities are expensive and custom made, and similar designs might not be available in stores, but it is possible to design a personal celebrity-style dress. Whether the design is actually made or not is dependent upon personal preferences, but you can create a custom design
- Look at pictures of celebrity dresses for ideas. Celebrities are constantly changing their look, so there is sure to be at least one dress that is personally appealing Otherwise, select several dresses with preferred elements
- Take body measurements. When designing a dress, it is always best to consider body type. Take measurements at the bust, waist and hips to find out what the body type is. Body types for women generally fall under one of four categories: apple, hourglass, pear or ruler. Some classify as many as 12 body types, adding spoon, brick, cone, vase and numerous others. - Sketch a skirt. Draw up any preferred skirt and length. In general, women with a curvier figure look best in pencil skirts or straight skirts, while a woman with a thinner frame is best in a fuller skirt option
- Add on any frills, embellishments or designs for the dress. Celebrity dresses can range from simple and elegant to over-the-top and shocking, depending on the celebrity, her taste in dresses and the designer
