How to Design Your Own Celebrity Dress:
- Celebrity dresses have several design options.Celebrities are known for wearing a wide range of outrageous, stylish and stunningly beautiful dresses on the red carpet. The dresses worn by celebrities are expensive and custom made, and similar designs might not be available in stores, but it is possible to design a personal celebrity-style dress. Whether the design is actually made or not is dependent upon personal preferences, but you can create a custom design
- Look at pictures of celebrity dresses for ideas. Celebrities are constantly changing their look, so there is sure to be at least one dress that is personally appealing. Otherwise, select several dresses with preferred elements
- Take body measurements. When designing a dress, it is always best to consider body type. Take measurements at the bust, waist and hips to find out what the body type is. Body types for women generally fall under one of four categories: apple, hourglass, pear or ruler. Some classify as many as 12 body types, adding spoon, brick, cone, vase and numerous others. The best dress for one celebrity body type will not look good on a different body type. For example, a pear shaped woman looks best in a dress with a halter top or spaghetti strap top. If designing for a specific celebrity, look up her body type instead
- Draw a body outline based on the measurements or body type. For example, an hourglass figure body outline should have a proportionate bust and hips with a much smaller waist. A pear-shaped body should end up with a smaller upper body and bust, small waist and large hips. The outline of the body is all you need for the dress design
- Draw the top of the dress. Determine what type of dress top is preferred. For example, a halter top is stunning on a pear-shaped body type while an hourglass shape might look best with a v-neck. Women with problem arms might want to cover up and have a long sleeve top
- Sketch a skirt. Draw up any preferred skirt and length. In general, women with a curvier figure look best in pencil skirts or straight skirts, while a woman with a thinner frame is best in a fuller skirt option
- Add on any frills, embellishments or designs for the dress. Celebrity dresses can range from simple and elegant to over-the-top and shocking, depending on the celebrity, her taste in dresses and the designer

this dress was EXACTLY like the original that Selena wore!!!! Could not get over the beautiful workmanship and swiftness of delivery!!
Cons:
Since it was a custom dress, it did come a little too short--would suggest getting professional help to get correct measure for hollow and length.

This dress is gorgeous; it fit them perfectly and the bridesmaids I had wearing this dress aren't big by any means, but they aren't "skinny" either. I couldn't have asked for a better dress.
