Whether the design is actually made or not is dependent upon personal preferences, but you can create a custom design
- Look at pictures of celebrity dresses for ideas. Celebrities are constantly changing their look, so there is sure to be at least one dress that is personally appealing Otherwise, select several dresses with preferred elements
- Take body measurements. When designing a dress, it is always best to consider body type. Take measurements at the bust, waist and hips to find out what the body type is. Body types for women generally fall under one of four categories: apple, hourglass, pear or ruler. Some classify as many as 12 body types, adding spoon, brick, cone, vase and numerous others. The best dress for one celebrity body type will not look good on a different body type. For example, a pear shaped woman looks best in a dress with a halter top or spaghetti strap top. - Sketch a skirt. Draw up any preferred skirt and length. In general, women with a curvier figure look best in pencil skirts or straight skirts, while a woman with a thinner frame is best in a fuller skirt option
