How to Fix a Cell Phone Screen?
- Try a scratch-remover product. These are available online and in retail locations. Apply a small amount of the cream to the screen, then rub it in until the scratches fade away
- Apply pressure to the cell phone screen. Stuck pixels are another problem that can occur on a cell phone screen. They'll create discoloration in different areas of the phone. To fix this problem, rub at the discolored areas with a pen cap to disperse them on the screen
- Fill any cracks or scratches with a small amount of toothpaste
- Replace the cell phone screen. If the crack is severe, this may be your only option. You can search for your phone model and purchase a new screen through online stores. To make the replacement, use a screwdriver to pop off the old screen, then snap the new one into place. The process may vary depending on the model. When in doubt, take the phone to a cell phone repair shop to make the switch
How to Track a Stolen Cell Phone?
- Go to Microtechnologies to download the appropriate software to track a cell phone (see Resources)
- Click on the green box labeled, "MicroLMTS Lost Mobile Tracking System"
- Find "Installation Steps" in the right corner of the screen
- Look over the cell phone icons. Locate the specific model of your cell phone and click on the heading above it
- Find and click on "Installation Instructions"
- Read over the pre-installation instructions and complete each step. When you complete each step of the "Lost Mobile Tracking System," wait for a few minutes. The software starts itself the first time. If the software does not start on it's own, restart your phone. When the software launches, register your phone
- Choose "Select Advance Registration Form Options Menu" from the Private Policy screen and complete the registration

06-21-2011- Other Thoughts: battery life is questionable, but I bought a car charger and an extra battery...problem solved. And as far as the difficulty with the battery cover, simply use a rubber jar opener to slide the cover off easier. <br/>There are so many apps that come with the phone and tons more that are available for free. I especially like that it came with Adobe Flash. I can also use Firefox as my Internet Browser. I'm not stuck with Safari! I highly recommend this phone. 5 stars!

06-20-2011- Other Thoughts: On the advice of several people I downloaded a Task Killer app. Similar to a pc, there is a lot of stuff running in the background which can be shut off in order to speed things up and reduce battery drain (not that I would ever describe this phone as slow). I charge all my devices every night so I have no issues with battery life.

06-14-2011- Other Thoughts: I have now overclocked my phone by rooting it and installing cyanogen mod 7 on it, it's now at 1.5 GHz and i adjusted it so it only uses 245 Mhz when not in use so it uses less battery power. The overclocking feature is built into the cyanogen mod 7 and there are several other features that make this phone even better than it already is! I also recommend buying a zagg screen protector for this phone since the screen is made of plastic not glass like the iphone 4 screen is.

06-08-2011- Other Thoughts: I am new to the Android phones and market. I have really liked what I have seen so far. Very user friendly phone, intuitive, fast, sharp and everything that I have wanted. The phone is very customizable and there are so many new apps being added all the time. Many free cool apps as well. I would highly recommend this phone as well as Android. Plus the price was great as I do not believe is spending alot of money on phones.

05-25-2011- Other Thoughts: Had my Inspire for about 2 months now and I have absolutely no compliants. I learn new tricks everyday. I love the size, battery is manageable, the speakers r ok, and the memory size is excellent. I have alot of apps which all run smoothly. The bloatware from ATT doesn't bother me. I definitely recommend it.

05-20-2011- Other Thoughts: he phone gives support for replacing batteries (just pop open a removal hatch at the back, replace your batter and you're good to go!). This is a huge step up from the stuck-with-one-battery with the iphone.

05-05-2011- Other Thoughts: DATA speeds were initially not the greatest, but that problem was solved with the recent software update & continuing ATT network improvements (I am in the Springfield, MA area). I now get around 2-2.5 Mbps down and 1-1.5 Mbps up (prior to update, upload was capped at 300 Kbps). Around Hartford, CT I usually get around 3.0 Mbps down or better.
