About Travel Chess Sets:- Function - The function of a travel chess set is to provide access to a chess game anywhere at any time. They are compact in size and usually fold up to prevent the loss of tiny chess pieces. They are great companions for long road trips and can be handed back and forth between you and a friend as you wait in line or eat at a restaurant. 01-22-2012- Pros: -Nice and well built chess set. -Magnetic pieces well stick to the tablet, even at 90°angle. -Simple but nice details on the figures. impossible to mix them, that is important. (I have some bad examples)
- Cons: -Would be nice to have in classic black and white colors too, though I like this colorset, my wife was a little surprised. At least my kid likes it.
- Other Thoughts: I was looking for something similar in 4 shops, with no success. Finally I found the perfect gift chess set for my kid at Dinodirect.
