How to Use an Ultrasonic Cleaner:
An ultrasonic cleaner is used to clean fragile items by employing the use of ultrasonic waves. They were designed to protect delicate jewelry and surgical instruments while also thoroughly cleaning the items. If you own an ultrasonic cleaner, you can easily deep clean and sterilize items in a matter of minutes- Read the manual that comes along with the ultrasonic cleaner. The manual will provide basic operation instructions as well as any warnings to consider while using the
- Fill the tank with warm water. Look for the fill line on your ultrasonic cleaner and use this as a guide to the appropriate amount to put in
- Add in the directed amount of ultrasonic cleaning solution. Each cleaning solution will instruct you to put in a different amount. You may only need to add a small amount of the product
- Plug in the ultrasonic cleaner and allow it to warm up. After 5 to 10 minutes, you can begin placing the items that you want cleaned into the provided basket
- Dunk the items into the water and cleaning solution mixture. Close the lid and wait for the cleaner's cycle to complete
- Take the jewelry or other items out of the ultrasonic cleaner. Run them through water if necessary or simply dry them with a clean cloth

- Remove the Ultrasonic tank and basket from the water. Rinse the parts in cool tap water under running water
- Dry the parts thoroughly with a towel

11-23-2011- Other Thoughts: Its not a professional cleaner - but it certainly works. My rings and earrings are noticably cleaner after use. I use warm/hot water and 1-2 pumps of dishsoap. I also run the cycle twice.

- Cons: Once people see your clean jewellery they all want their own stuff cleaned ha ha.
- Other Thoughts: All you do is add some detergent to the water and a few minutes later its done. Perfect.

11-24-2011- Other Thoughts: I too have tried cleaning nearly everything in my jewelry box with this sonic machine. It's fast, effective, and fun to watch! Good value for the price. Highly recommend for around-the-house. I live in Chile, so I use a transformer with it.
