How to Buy an Alarm Clock?

Electric Alarm Clocks:- Try the eSmart Digital Alarm Clock with smart set feature. This clock comes preset with the correct time--just choose the time zone. Use with a lithium battery and you won't lose any sleep if there's a blackout. One nifty feature is the dual alarm setting, allowing you to set a different time for weekend snoozing. Brace yourself for a shrill alarm however

- Get fancy with Hammacher Schlemmer's Peaceful Progression Wake-up Clock. This clock combines a gradual increase of light with aromatherapy beads for a natural waking experience
- Try RCA's AM/FM Dual Alarm Clock that lets you nap anywhere from 10 minutes to 2 hours. Another feature is the Graduwake alarm that gets progressively louder. Another clock by RCA, the CD Clock Radio also offers local weather, TV stations and special naptime settings
Other Types of Alarm Clocks:
- Choose a traditional wind-up bell alarm clock if you don't like the look of an electric alarm clock. Wind-up clocks never go out of style, look great on a nightstand and don't take up as much room as an electric model. Look for the Bulova Bellman Wind-Up Bell Alarm Clock for a classic timekeeper at the Gifts for Professionals website (see Resources below)
- Go vintage with an antique wind-up alarm clock, available at Alarm Clocks Online (see Resources below)
- Don't rely on the hotel staff to wake you when traveling; instead, carry your own travel alarm clock such as the Reliable II Travel Alarm Clock by Seiko
Package Included:
- 1 x Clock

05-13-2011- Other Thoughts: It works. It's easy to use. The insruction book is clear and simple. I like the dual alarms, even though I live alone. Now when I need to change my wake up time occasionally, I switch from the A alarm to the B alarm. I no longer have to reset my regular daily alarm time, just switch back to it. I'm especially happy about the dimmer switch for the LEDs and the battery power back up. Can't beat the price, either.

06-15-2011- Other Thoughts: It's like a miracle. You plug it in and that's all you have to do. Also the numbers are large and easy to read in the dark. Power outage does not effect it.

06-08-2011- Other Thoughts: This clock is easy to use. It's everything most reviewers wrote. The only thing is that, during the night time, when it's dark, the green display numbers, even set at a minimum is a little bright. Not too bad, though. I like red number display better, as it is not as bright. This is a very good product for the price. Very pleased with vendor, shipping, packaging, etc. Can't go wrong with this purchase!! Thank you.

06-21-2011- Other Thoughts: I've owned Sony Dream Machines years ago so went with the reputable brand. I didn't even have to set the time! Large readout of the time.

05-06-2011- Other Thoughts: This is a great alarm clock. I only gave it 4 stars and not five for two reasons. One the low battery light came on the day after I plugged it in. Also the time that came preset was off by about 9 minutes. Not a big deal to fix, but they make a big point about it coming with the correct time. Date was correct though. The radio sounds good and the light level is not too bright and can be adjusted.
