How to Clean a Stainless Coffee Mug:

Stainless steel is a durable, nonporous material that has long been used to create stainless steel coffee mugs. These mugs need cleaning just like any other type of coffee mug. Luckily, the mugs are easy to clean and care for as they do not absorb stains, and residue is easily removed from the steel surface. It is best to use mild, inexpensive cleaning ingredients that use no chemical agents to clean the mug since you will be drinking out of it in the future.

• Rinse out the mug daily and wash with hot, soapy water. Use about 1 quart hot water to 1/2 tsp. dish soap
• Pour 2 tbsp. baking soda into the mug for a deodorizing agent
• Add 1/2 cup white vinegar to the mug as well to disinfect. When the vinegar hits the baking soda it will react and foam, working to thoroughly clean your mug
• Place the lid onto the coffee mug and shake for about 10 seconds
• Discard the foamy residue and rinse the mug with hot water. Dry with a clean rag or leave the lid off the mug and allow to air dry
