Product FAQs
  • What Is VGA?
  • Video Graphics Array (VGA) is an analog central processing unit display standard most important marketed in 1987 by means of IBM. It has been technically outdated in the PC marketplace for some time. VGA was the freshest graphical standard with the intention of the preponderance of manufacturers does the accepted thing to, making it the lowly common denominator so as to all PC graphics hardware chains before a device-specific driver is encumbered into the computer. For instance, the Microsoft Windows get water on screen appears while the machine is unmoving operating in VGA manner, which are the grounds that this screen until the end of time appears in reduced declaration and color depth.

The phrase VGA is often used to pass on to a declaration of 640×480, regardless of the hardware that produces the representation (even though this decision is outdated in PC, in the pocket PC / PDA variety store it is currently becoming the average). It may also pass on to the 15-pin D-subminiature VGA connector which is unmoving widely used to bring analog video signals of every one of resolutions.

VGA was legitimately superseded by IBM's XGA typical, but in realism it was superseded by frequent extensions to VGA made by clone manufacturer that moved toward to be acknowledged as "Super VGA".

  • What is RCA?
  • As an RCA provider, we participate with our peers on various discussion forums. We discuss such questions and issues that cause frustration to the RCA users. I would like to say that we make more progress than we do, however I would not be telling the truth. RCA providers, like any other type of vendor, have their business interests to protect. Sometimes trying to obtain a consensus on those questions may have an adverse impact on such business interests.

  • How can I fabricate myself a VGA cable to Composite?
  • The two systems are totaly diferent and you can't just do what you want using the cable you need some pretty complicated Electronics as well.

Many newer Video cards have a SVideo output that will do what you need.
