How to Keep Moisture Out of a Car Cup Holder:
Many of us practically live in our cars. We are always on the way somewhere, so we take our drinks with us. It is annoying to have all that moisture building up in the cup holder of the car as it makes a real mess. Here are a few tips to cut down on the moisture in the car cup holder, or to get rid of the mess all together.

- Clean out your cup holder.
- Put a napkin or a folded paper towel in the bottom of the cup holder to absorb the moisture that drips off those fast food drinks. Change it out from time to time to keep it clean or make it a habit to ask for a couple of extra napkins each time you pick up a drink.
- Purchase a travel mug or cup that is insulated and doesn't sweat. These are terrific if you have a long commute to work and you have to have that cup of hot coffee to take along in the car every morning. They also keep the cold drinks cold longer and your cup holder stays moisture free.
- Buy a "cup holder coaster." These are fun and practical. This is a small absorbent stone coaster that fits in the bottom of your cup holder. They absorb the normal moisture that drips off sodas and coffee cups. They're fun because you can buy them with your favorite sports team logo. These are available at auto supply stores, gift shops and discount stores.
- Try a cheap fix to the moisture problem by placing a round sponge in the bottom of your car cup holder to absorb moisture from your various travel drinks. If you can't find a round sponge, cut one to fit. Wash them when they are soiled, to be ready to use again.
