How to Clean Flat Shoes Quickly:
Flat shoes are worn by many people on a day-to-day basis, either for work purposes or simply casual wear, as the shoes have no heel and are fairly easy to walk on throughout the entire day. When you wear your flat shoes often, you will quickly notice dirt and buildup on both the soles and fabric of the shoes, and an odor may even form inside of the shoes from perspiration. To clean the shoes quickly, you must use mild cleaning agents that are safe for all fabrics and will clean effectively
- Clean away dirt built up in the grooves by scraping away the build up with a toothpick. This is a quick, easy way to get between all crevices
- Moisten a cloth with warm water, and wring out thoroughly. Wipe across the exterior of the flats
- Give a more thorough cleaning to the shoes with unscented baby wipes. These wipes are safe for all shoe types and will break apart and remove heavier residue that a damp cloth alone will not be able to do
- Sprinkle a light dusting of baking soda inside of the shoes if any perspiration or odor is present. Do this before you go to bed, and tap the shoes over the trash can the next morning to get rid of the baking soda
