How to Remove Sticky Tape Glue:

Clothes

• Get a piece of duct tape that is the same size as the adhesive residue on the clothes. Press the duct tape onto the adhesive stain. Lift the tape off and check the garment. Repeat the process until adhesive is no longer apparent
• Remove hard-to-remove adhesive by purchasing an adhesive-removing product at a hobby store. People who scrapbook commonly need to remove adhesives from their projects and their clothes and desk and more. A scrapbooking hobby shop may have an adhesive-removing product
• Test the adhesive-removing product on a test area that is hard to see, such as in the inside of the garment. Rub the product against the fabric and inspect the garment to see if there is any stain from the product. Don't use the adhesive-removing product if the cloth becomes discolored
• Rub the adhesive remover on the clothing until the adhesive has been removed. Wash the clothing according to the directions on the label

• Pour a few tablespoons of mineral spirits into a saucer. Dip a cotton swab into the minter spirits
• Rub the adhesive with the cotton swap until the adhesive begins to lift. For hard-to-remove adhesive, soak the area in mineral spirits for 15 minutes and rub with a lint-free rag
• Scrape the rest of the residue with a scraper or blade. Carefully skim over the surface of the flooring to prevent damaging the floor
