Polyester and spandex are both types of synthetic materials. Many items of clothing made from synthetics are made of blends of these materials. Other benefits are its being able to hold its form well and its resilience against mold and mildew damage. Many items are 100 percent polyester, but there are a lot of polyester mixes. Some cleaning rules may change when different types of material are mixed with polyester. The word "spandex" is a play on words based on the notion that the material is "expandable." Spandex consists of a substance that allows the material to stretch and maintain its shape. Additionally, manufactures blend spandex with other fabrics such as linen, polyester and cotton.
•l Add warm water to the tub or sink until it is about half full
•l Add a gentle detergent, such as Ivory or Lux, to the water and mix until it dissolves
•l Add cold water to the sink or tub until it is about three-quarters full
•l Gently submerge your garment in the water, making sure all the material is dampened
•l Using your fingers, lightly scrub stained areas until they are lifted away. It may take several minutes of scrubbing to remove tougher stains
•l Once the item is clean, remove it from the tub and gently squeeze excess water into the tub
•l Hang the garment to drip dry on a clothesline

07-20-2012- Pros: When this dress arrived I was impressed! It is really beautiful! Well made ??and well finished, and that cost does not seem that price looks like it's a lot more value. I definitely recommend. I'll buy one of another color.
