I had an old DVD RW in my actual box. I replaced it with this unit and it is whisper quiet. My old one made quite a bit of noise so I couldn't help but be pleasantly surprised with this one! I would definitely recommend!

I bought this product for my sister' use. She is comfortable with a computer but doesn't know enough to fumble with a new gadget. So far she is comfortable with it and she said it had worked the ways she wanted it too. I like way the blue indicator light goes with the black color of the unit, looks very futuristic.

Great little DVD player. My disk drive in my MacBook Pro died. For far cheaper than repairing, this DVD player substitutes for the broken drive!

this burner is flawless.. Iuse it to for my gamming needs and the consoles always reads its perfectly. its nice and small and makes very little noise.

I've had this for a little over a month. It was working fine for the first maybe three weeks but then just randomly stopped working. My computer could read that the device was there, however, the device itself no longer reads any disk. <br/>Had this product lasted longer I would've gladly given it a 5 star but now I will be using the warranty on it. Hopefully it was just that particular one.
