A Little History:
- Before we delve into the different kinds of Bluetooth, it may help to know a little bit about Bluetooth itself. In Bluetooth technology, two devices communicate with each other over low-frequency radio waves in the 2.4GHz range. No cables or wires are needed, and the only requirement is that both devices be Bluetooth compatible. Unlike infrared ports, the connected devices don't need to be in direct line of sight, but they do need to be relatively close to each other. And like a wireless Infrared transfer, Bluetooth doesn't cost anything beyond the initial investment in the devices.

How to Activate a Bluetooth Headset:
- Set you Bluetooth headset device to discovery mode. To do this, usually you just hold down the control button for 3+ seconds until the light stays continuously lit. If the device asks for a pass codes for these devices are 0000 or 1234. Consult the user's manual of the device for the correct code if not listed here
- Set your phone or mobile device to find the Bluetooth device. To do this, go to settings and find the Bluetooth link. Activate the link (select Yes to activate)
- Set the phone find audio device mode. The phone will search and the Bluetooth device will register, Click confirms or OK
- Exit settings mode on the phone. Your Bluetooth headset device is now connected and ready to use

09-18-2011- Other Thoughts: They work fine. At home they work well around the house. I can usually get enough range to walk to the other room. At work with a lot of fluorescent lighting and other tech equipment I can walk across the room. They sound excellent.

04-22-2011- Other Thoughts: When I first got these they worked with my phone. I have had them well over a year and they have been the longest lasting headphones I have owned. Wireless means no yanked cords! <br/> <br/> I would recommend these to anyone who like the convenience of wireless.

- Can I use my Bluetooth headset on a computer?
In order to use a Bluetooth headset, your computer must have an internal Bluetooth card or an external Bluetooth dongle adapter. However, not all Bluetooth devices utilize the same Bluetooth profiles.
- Can I use Voice Dialing/Voice Activation with the Bluetooth headsets?
Voice Dialing, Voice Activation & Voice Command are all a function of the cellular phone itself and not the headset. The headset will support this feature, however you must be able to program the phone to recognize the headset as the default device to use and not the phone itself in order for this function/feature to work. Refer to the users manual or cell phone provider for instructions on how to program your phone.
- I hear beeping in my Bluetooth headset while in standby mode?
Some telephone customers using Bluetooth headsets may hear frequent ringing/beeping in the headset while in standby mode.
