• Talk Mode: This is the nurturing, loving mode, when you want to give you pet special attention without having it try to scurry away from you. Press the Head Button to make the pet coo, chirp, and make a variety of cute sounds. It will continue to make new sounds every few seconds or every time you push the head button. After about one minute the pet will automatically go to sleep
• Explore Mode: This is where you get to watch the pet go out and explore the world! Press the Back Button to engage the motor, then set the pet down and let it go. In Explore Mode the pet will entertain you with crazy fun sounds and wacky movements. It will back up when it bumps its nose. Press the Back Button again while in explore mode and the pet will go to sleep. If left alone in explore mode the pet will automatically go to sleep after about four minutes
• Sleep Mode: The pet will sleep to conserve energy and save the batteries when not in use. You can wake it up by pressing the Head or Back Button. Sleep mode also doubles as a try-me mode for the pet
• In Sleep Mode: The nose button is active and will cause the pet to make simple sounds each time the button is pressed. It will then go back to sleep

• Do keep in mind when you buy your Zhu Zhu pets, it's disadvantage like most battery operated toys, is that you are bound to encounter a few snags, as you will see in the video, the Zhu Zhu Pets do require interaction from the kids in order to function at their optimum
• Zhu Zhu pets do come with a guarantee so if you do encounter any flaws you could easily get a refund or exchange the product
• But let us look on the plus side. Unlike real hamster pets, the Zhu Zhu pets can entertain at the touch of a button. Zhu Zhu pets are built in with two modes; The Loving Mode which allows kids to pet them, love them, then hear them squeak and chatter back. The Explore Mode lets them scoot, scamper, bump & boogie across the floor or through their Hamster Habitat. This is sure to get the kids excited as the Zhu Zhu pets scamper around in their Zhu Zhu Accessories
• For example when you want to cuddle with or "reward" your hamster, pet it on the head (right behind the ears). Your hamster will chirp and purr and coo contentedly. These little fur balls love it when you pet them and they'll keep "talking" until they get bored and go to sleep
• To let your hamster know it's OK to run around and explore its environment, press it on its back and watch them go! Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters love to run around and explore. If you want to calm them down, you can pat it on the head button to cuddle (and it will stop running) or you can press it on its back and you will hear your Zhu Zhu Pet Hamster yawn and then go to sleep
