Types of Bulk Ink:
Bulk ink, is a type of refillable ink, that can be used in compatible printers. Depending on the printer type, model and brand, bulk ink may be a viable option when refilling your printer ink. There are several main types of bulk ink. After choosing the color you need, check with your local computer store or computer repair person to ensure that your machine can accept bulk ink without any problems with functionality.
Cyan
Cyan is a blue bulk ink that is utilized for all shades of blue. Cyan is also mixed with other colors in your printer to create turquoise, purple and other colors related to blue. Cyan is the second most popular bulk ink, and can be refilled into either laser toner cartridges or inkjet cartridges.
Magenta
Magenta bulk ink is responsible for all the reds, pinks and other rosy colors you can print from your computer. Be especially careful when refilling your printer with magenta bulk ink, because the bright red color will stain anything it touches. Check with a professional to ensure that you have the type of ink cartridge that can accept refillable ink.
Yellow
Yellow bulk ink prints tans, yellows, and works with magenta to make greens. It is usually the least-used color in a standard printer; a little bit of yellow goes a long way. It is an important color, however, and refills are available at a significantly cheaper price than brand-new laser toner or inkjet cartridges.
Black Bulk Ink
Black is the most popular type of bulk ink. Since most printing is done in black, manufacturers often offer two types of black bulk ink. Pigmented black is a deep, heavy black ink that can be bought in bulk and imported into your existing ink cartridge. Economy black, a lighter tone of black, is available for approximately $10 less than pigmented black.
