How to Apply Mineral Face Powder & Blush:
Mineral makeup is a loose-powder type of makeup made of natural ingredients that are beneficial to many skin types. Mineral makeup does not have the mask-like effect that is apparent with traditional liquid foundations and blush. This type of makeup allows for excellent coverage while still permitting the skin's natural beauty to shine through. For an attractive, natural appearance with mineral face powder and blush, application technique is the key- Begin with skin that has been washed, toned and moisturized. Shake a small amount of the mineral foundation into the lid of its container. Lightly dip the concealer brush into the makeup. Tap the brush on the side of the lid to remove excess makeup. Use the concealer brush to apply foundation to specific problem areas such as blemishes, areas of redness or dark circles under the eyes. Always use circular motions to apply the foundation
- Swirl the kabuki brush through the makeup lightly and tap it on the side of the lid to remove excess powder. Begin on your cheeks and move around the whole face with small, circular motions. Don't forget to apply to the neck and jaw line. Continue applying and create several light layers until you reach the level of coverage you desire
- Shake a small amount of mineral bronzer/all-over face color into the lid of its container. Lightly dip the kabuki brush into the makeup. Tap the brush on the side of the lid to remove excess makeup. With gentle, circular motions, apply the color to the skin to highlight your features. Some key areas to apply mineral bronzer/all-over face color include: the edge of the face, the sides of the nose, the forehead, under the cheekbones and under the lower lip
- Shake a small amount of the mineral setting powder into the lid of its container. Lightly dip the kabuki brush into the makeup. Tap the brush on the side of the lid to remove excess makeup. Use gentle, circular motions to apply the setting powder to the whole face and neck area. Layer the powder and continue to buff the face for a natural, healthy look
- Shake a small amount of the mineral blush into the lid of its container. Lightly dip the blush brush into the makeup. Tap the brush on the side of the lid to remove excess makeup. Use tight, circular sweeps of the brush to apply blush to the apples of the cheeks. Create several layers if necessary to achieve the desired results
How to Make Face Powder:
If you have ever dropped your favorite eyeshadow or blush, you know that the color will usually crack or the cake will break into pieces. Don't throw it away! The broken pieces can be recycled and used to create more awesome colors! Plus, if you ever find yourself all out of your favorite face powder, that broken makeup may come in handy! The following steps will show you how to make your own face powder- Pour your cornstarch into a small bowl
- In another bowl, place some of your "earth toned" broken makeup pieces
- With the back of a spoon, pulverize the makeup pieces until they become a fine powder
- Continue to add pieces until the color becomes a tone that matches your skin, or is a shade lighter
- Add the colored mix to your bowl of cornstarch
- Mix colored makeup powder and cornstarch together, thoroughly. You should end up with a smooth face powder in a shade that is comprable to your skin tone
- Pour the face powder into your container, and apply to face as desired

- Cons: But it is very bad packed. Cover of powder was opened and half of powder spilled out of the box.
