This Canon Speedlite Flash can be used with SLR cameras and digital SLR cameras. When combined with a compatible Canon camera and compatible lens, E-TTL II utilizes subject distance and other information that automatically modifies flash power, resulting in accurate flash exposure regardless of subject size, reflectance, or photographic composition. Canon Speedlite Flashgun Canon Flash Speedlite is great for photographers that shoot high contrast or reflective subjects, like those encountered in wedding photography. Photographers can now capture every detail from the black of tuxedos to the white of wide smiles and wedding dresses. Bounce photography, in which light is reflected off a white wall or the ceiling or a reflector, increases your range of photographic expression.     • Shot around 500 photos with the Yongnuo YN-465 in TTL mode, and exposure is very good in general
    • There was no situation where it disappointed, be it direct flash or bounced against the ceiling

    • Daylight fill flash exposure is very good, especially the balance between natural and flash light is pleasing
    • In none of daylight fill flash photos there was noticeable over- or underexposure of the main subject or background

I have found the flash unit to be more than acceptable for my Canon. Performance matches the much more expensive Nikon flash. My satisfaction is such I have suggested to my son and daughter to purchase the unit for their Canon.

I like this flash because it works pretty easy, it also can be adjusted easily. 1/2 flash recharges quickly but full flash can tak 8-12 seconds. Better batteries are a most, but overall happy with the purchase

The flash is much larger than I thought, but very similar to the Canon in size and shape. I'm VERY happy with it so far. I may update later if the flash dies(possibility due to cost).
