Other Thoughts: When I saw that these bulbs save energy and last 40+ years, I decided to take the plunge. Besides, I was not happy with the cfl bulbs I had lighting this area. Yes, they are a little more expensive but in comparison, they are less costly than than the competition. I really like them.

Other Thoughts: Just installed this LED bulb in a ceiling fixture over my desk area. Light came on instantaneously. These are more like a spot light. It lights up my entire desk area and is perfect because it's outside my daughters bedroom and does not spread into their room.

Other Thoughts: The first thing you'll notice about these is that they are much heavier than a normal PAR30 lamp; this could be a problem if they're to be installed in flimsy fixtures. The next thing you'll notice is the initially disconcerting 2-second delay before the lamp turns on; I find it less annoying than 2-3 minutes it takes CFLs to reach full brightness, but you might not want to use these at the top of your stairs.

Other Thoughts: They are even brighter than expected. I've currently using them in my home office where I have 4 recessed cans. The lighting quality and quantity from these bulbs is a night and day difference than the CFLs I have installed in the other side of the room.

Other Thoughts: My customer was very happy to use these LED lamps as a replacement in his existing recessed lights. This brand has higher lumen output than others. The lamps even worked with his existing lutron dimmer. Online order arrived the next day.
