04-05-2011- Other Thoughts: Hi, <br/>I bought this mp3-fm transmitter to use it in my old truck from 2004 that could play only CDs. I read some bad reviews about it, but I wanted to give it a try. I was so pleased with it! It's been more than 6 months since I've had it, using it daily at least 30 min while driving. I was not disappointed at all.

02-14-2011- Other Thoughts: I just received this item yesterday, and wow, I'm impressed! For the price, I don't think you can beat the sound quality. So far I've only tested my old school ipod mini and 2nd gen ipod shuffle - and both sound great on my car stereo! The only quirk is that although it charges the ipods thru the USB port, you can't play music with this connection. To play music and use the features on your ipod, you have to connect to the earphone jack with the audio cable. You also can't play music thru the earphone jack while the ipod is charging with the USB connection. A minor inconvenience, but the price and sound quality more than make up for it.

02-20-2011- Other Thoughts: I use this product to listen to podcasts in my truck. It's easy enough to use. I've used it with SD cards, thumb drives and an MP3 player. If you're listening to a track on a card or thumb drive, it restarts the track every time when you cut the power to the transmitter. This is not a problem with an MP3 player as the source. <br/> <br/>The transmitter power is not the strongest--it works well for voices, but music suffers from the lack of power. <br/> <br/>For the money, this is a good product. If you want high fidelity, go for something newer.

03-02-2011- Other Thoughts: This is the neatest little device I have ever seen. All you do is load your MP3's onto an SD card, flash drive, or both, stick them in the appropriate slot in the player, tune an fm radio and the player to the same frequency, plug into a cigarette lighter, and listen. I even bought a 115 to 12 volt cigarette lighter converter so I can use it at home and listen through my home fm receiver. <br/>It is simple to use, takes up little space, and unlike another reviewer stated, if your music is stereo and your receiver is stereo it does play in stereo. <br/>If there is anything negative to say about this device, it is that it seems to be a bit delicate, so don't let the children play with it. But for the price, you could buy several to use. <br/>Again, I LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT.

- Does your car MP3 player play songs in folders?
Different player will have different options. iPod have the options of playing by album, type/genre, artist, etc. Most cheap player will only play by the folder.
- Which is better quality for playing your mp3 in your car? A mp3 cassette or fm transmitter?
I think either way is ok. If you get a FM transmitter,you will need to spend the money for a good one though. And sometimes when you drive through big cities,there is interference.
- I have an MP3 player with a built in FM transmitter. Why doesn't it work in my car?
You have an FM tuner, not a transmitter. It does not transmit to an FM station.
