How to Clean a Golf Club:
- Clean golf club heads and grips are key to making effective contact with a golf ball; sand, grass, dirt and other materials accumulate where they should not, interfering with the job they are designed to perform. If your clubs' grooves are accumulating debris and their grips feeling slimy, read on for tips and tricks to clean the set and potentially improve your golf game
Instructions:
- Clean golf club grips using warm water, liquid soap and a scrub brush. Scrub the grip until all its pores are unclogged
- Soak golf club heads for 10 minutes, or as needed, in a bucket filled with warm water and liquid soap. This will loosen debris trapped in grooves
- Dry the club heads using a washcloth, pulling out any loosened debris
- Use a rotating brass brush at a low speed, focusing on dirty groove areas
- Polish the club heads with a polishing cloth (those designed for jewelry cleaning work well) or a rotating polish brush
