How to Wear a Wig?

• Step 1: Take the wig out of the box and shake it gently to separate the fibers. Identify the front and back of the wig. Remember the label goes in back. Then put the wig cap on.
• Step 2: Brush your own hair back. Pin longer hair up so it is away from the front, sides, and nape of your head. A wig cap will keep hair in place. Then make sure your hair is covered completely
• Step 3: Slip the wig over your head from hairline to neck. Adjust so that the front edge lines up with your front hairline. The wig should feel secure, but not too tight. If necessary, adjust the elastic straps
• Step 4: Tuck in any way stray hairs and you're done. Style as you would your own hair. So, now you can style the wig you prefer

How Often Should You Wash Your Wig?

• The answer ultimately depends on how often you wear it and what type of damage it incurs while wearing. The general rule of thumb for human hair wigs is to wash them after every ten to twelve wearing. For synthetic hair you can get by with washing after every fifteen to twenty wearing
• You may need to wash your wig more often under certain circumstances. If you are very active and perspire a lot, if you live in a more humid climate, or if you are around a lot of pollutants such as car exhaust, cooking grease, or cigarette smoke you will definitely want to wash your wig more often. In these instances it is okay to wash your wig after six to eight wearing but any more than that will cause your wig to deteriorate more quickly and loose its shape and style. If you do need to shampoo your wig more frequently it is important to adhere to the proper cleaning instructions and to use the correct products in order to minimise damage

How to Clean the Wig:

• First, comb the wig and fill your sink basin with cool water
• Add a capful of synthetic wig shampoo and blend in. Never use regular shampoo on synthetic wigs! If the wig has picked up the odor of smoke or other strong odors, you may add a teaspoon of baking soda to your basin, and blend in
• Gently swish the wig or piece in the water for about 30 seconds to a minute until the wig is saturated
• Gently scrub the front of the wig cap, where it meets the forehead until clean. Leave the wig soak in the wig basin for about 15 minutes
• Empty the wig basin of water and rinse the wig or piece in cool water. It is very important to use cool water on curly wigs, as warm water will over-relax the curls of wigs
• Gently squeeze excess water out of wig. Do not rub or twist your wig
• Use dry towel absorbs moisture and natural dry. Avoid direct sunlight, damage the wig
• Comb the wig and spray nursing liquid, then natural drying
• Comb gently to remove tangles, then turn inside out

How to Store the Wig: 

• When you do not use the wig, according to the original hairstyle and then put the wig on the shelf
• If you don't wear for a long time, first gently comb wig, spray nursing liquid, natural drying, then put the wig into dry box and don't let other things pressure it

How to Fit a Wig:

Modern wigs are lightweight, comfortable, natural-looking and easy to style. But if you do not fit it properly, even the highest quality wig will appear lump, bumpy or even crooked on your head. With just a little bit of practice, however, you can feel confident and look beautiful wearing your wig

• Prepare your hair for the wig to go over it. If you have mid-length or long hair, create flat pin-curls all over your head using small sections of hair and bobby pins. Distribute them evenly over your head so that there are no bumps or lumps
• Put a wig liner or wig cap over your pin curls. If you have little hair, no hair or very short hair, you can put on the wig liner without first making pin curls
• Hold the wig with both hands at the nape where the label sits
• Tilt your head slightly forward. Place the front of the wig above your eyebrows and slide the wig onto your head the way you would a bathing cap
• Push the front of the wig up and back until the rim of the wig sits slightly below your hairline
• Position the wig's ear tabs in front of your ears. This centers the wig on your head
• Check the fit. The wig should feel secure and snug, but not overly tight. If the wig is too tight or too loose, adjust the Velcro tabs at the back of the wig and repeat Steps 1 through 7

How to Tie Hair into a Wig:

Wigs are an ideal way to temporarily change hair style, color and length. To wear one, simply tuck your hair into a wig cap and place the wig over it. If you have shorter hair, tucking your hair into the wig cap is simple. If you have longer hair, however, getting it flat can seem impossible; however, you can control your hair under the wig cap with a French braid and some bobby pins

Short Hair:

• Comb your hair to make sure all knots and tangles are out
• Apply a small amount of hair gel to make your hair smooth and stay in place
• Place the wig cap over your hair. Lay the hair flat and tuck it underneath the cap. The cap should not extend past your hairline, especially on the forehead
• Place the wig over the wig cap and adjust it. Gently run the comb through it to make sure there are no knots

Long Hair:

• Comb your hair to make sure all the knots and tangles are out
• Tightly French braid your hair (see "References"). Get the braid as close to the scalp as possible. Tie the end of it with the hair tie
• Pin the tail of the braid against the back of your head using the bobby pins. If it looks bulky, undo the braid and create two French braids. Then pin the tails to the center of your head using the bobby pins
• Apply a small amount of hair gel to keep the hair in place
• Place the wig over the wig cap and adjust it. Gently run the comb through the hair to make sure there are no knots
