- Other Thoughts: It's a great console, with all the advantages of operating system Android. Allows the installation of many games and applications. You can connect to internet via WiFi. This type of equipment are another step in the evolution of portable consoles.

02-22-2012- Pros: - Nice form factor - Android 2.3 - Lots of games available (Market can be installed) - Great emulation of old console - Can be rooted (with unlockroot)
- Cons: - Resistive screen (but it has good quality) - Crappy D-Pad
- Other Thoughts: Probably one of the best portable gaming system you can buy today for a really cheap price.

07-12-2012- Pros: One of the best resistive touch screens already move. There is a huge support for this model on the Internet, including an Android rom ICS 4.0. Thanks to hardware honest games, Sega Genesis (Mega Drive in Brazil) run very well. Unlike other emulators. The PSX and N64 emulators run well, despite the problem of limiting the amount of buttons.
- Cons: Painting it is weak, peeling easy. The buttons and start menu, start to sink after a while. I have two devices, one of the oldest, are really sunk.
- Other Thoughts: A player with great autonomy, with enormous possibilities, and different models of Yinlips, S5110 and the JXD, the S601 is lightweight and small, that makes much difference to those who use him in the street or on the bus.

03-28-2012- Pros: Easy to use without manual, it arrived later. Great delivery time, works great. Didn't have to do much to download apps right away. Read alot about the screen being hard to work with but I did not have any problems. Overall great Android. Oh and shipping to Canada was great -no custom or handling fees.
- Cons: Wish it came with a rubberized protector or a case. Alot of Chinese emulator games that I haven't been able to switch to English. rest is good.
- Other Thoughts: I use it for emails, playing flash games and surfing. Not all apps are compatible with the device, must check the list at gamingonbatteries.com/jxd-s601-games/ ...found it very useful but many flash games are not listed and they work fine. Your S601 will tell you if it is compatible or not before installation. I have not used the emulators very much but works fine.
